I drive a 2015 BMW R1200GS-W and like others here I have difficulty reaching for inflation valves especially when traveling with hard suitcases. Pros: I like that fact. that the stem rotates for easy access. CONS: read on: I bought these with the intention of keeping them permanently, but: the tail finally went far enough that it didn't leak air when touching the 90 degree part; However, to prevent air leaks when touching the 90 degree part, the front one could not be twisted very much at all, which made me wonder if it would fall off while riding. From the comments of other motorcyclists here, it appears that some bought them just to use for inflating or checking tire pressure. However, if I were to use it for just that, the slightest sideways pressure on the shaft - since it's loose and designed to rotate - will cause air to leak out. I'll check my rear end tomorrow but I'm afraid it's leaking. Air.
