This gets a low score due to the complete inability to run non-VR applications with the product render and because the VR remote is crap. Many apps are just roller coasters or weird video games. I was hoping for weirder, psychedelic VR apps, but they don't really exist. I was really hoping that I could render some of my usual applications (music visualizer, etc.) with a headset and just see a flat but large 2D surface. There is a suspicion that Samasung and Occulus deliberately omitted this feature in order to maximize the profitability of VR applications. It's basically tantamount to preventing the game system from being backwards compatible, and that's crap. However, the system itself is great and the remote control kind of sucks. It worked when I first set it up and then stopped. The headset remote is surprisingly accurate and well made. I got my device at a below average price and I'm happy with the purchase, but I want everyone to know that you can't use your regular apps with this one. You can dream, but not about it. Well, moisture fogging is a problem, but no more so than when skiing. I use an anti-fog spray and it should be fine. There's also a steep learning curve, and VR constantly wants to access cellphone features it doesn't need (sorry, random rollcoaster app. You don't need access to my phone's contact list).
