It was easy to install. Keeps it hot or cold outside with the AC on. I have several 100 lb dogs and a 40 lb dog who can easily get in and out, the magnets connect quickly. When I say my small dog is in and out frequently, I mean pretty much all the time. He walks through that door at least 30 times an hour. Funny, but that's why I bought it. My door with a dog door was abused by several 100lb dogs trying to squeeze through at the same time. I'm tired of constantly having to fix it, so I just leave it open and they can use this door instead. I've had it for a week and it still looks great. I am very happy with my purchase. *** Well I've had it for 7 months. The bottom 2.5 feet are ripped off at the bottom. I tried sealing it with Gorilla Tape but they ripped it off too. Overall, the door is reinstated after it falls, so it does what I want it to do, although that makes it no longer attractive.***
