I hate to give negative reviews but from the one star reviews I've read I'm not the only one dealing with these issues. I bought this timer to set my Christmas lights to a photocell so I don't have to turn them off late at night and turn them on again when the sun goes down. Well the first day the timer worked but the next night when I got home from work the lights were still off. The next morning after I manually turned the lights on last night, the lights were still on and the sun had already come out. I placed the timer in an empty spot where the photocell shouldn't have a problem. Buy at your own risk! I wish it worked because the remote control timer looks nice and functional. It is a pity that the photocell and the timer setting do not work properly.
