I am a child occupational therapist and this is my favorite toy. I use it with children from 18 months. This toy can be played in many ways to develop fine motor skills, follow instructions, take turns, share, develop grip strength, sort, count, develop language, sequence, develop names, play imaginary/imaginary games . This list has no end. Durable and easy to sanitize between children, it is the most coveted toy in therapy. I go to every kid's birthday party I go to and each of my nieces and nephews has a set. I love birthday cake, pizza and fruit, but not as much as cookies.
