The saw is built like a tank and is quite heavy. The processing and fit of the components is very good. The blade that went with it... that's another story. I used it to cut 1/8" angle irons and about the 10th cut the saw made a loud popping noise. At first I wasn't sure what happened; the workpiece was safe and I did not "push" the saw. I let the saw do its work. A closer look at the blade reveals that one of the carbide tips was not fully secured and broke mid-cut. Several adjacent teeth appear to be damaged, likely from impact with loose carbide shavings. I have contacted the seller through Revain, Dave's Tools and am awaiting a response. I have used similar saws for many years and this is new to me. As I have projects in the works and can't wait, I got myself a DeWALT blade as a quick replacement. Great saw! ... very dissatisfied with the blade it came with.
