I actually bought it for a pretty unique reason. I like a stronger yet lighter way to attach parachutes and survival gear to my model rockets. Yes, just like the little ones you had as a kid, but a lot bigger and with a lot more fire coming out of your back (at least that's what you intend to do!). Given the caustic nature of black powder and the rapid but very rapid heat to which it is subjected, the zinc versions corrode and corrode too easily and are therefore unsafe. (Missiles are safe. Missiles are safe.) So stainless steel is a must. For the big rockets I fly, the 1500 and 2000lb SS304 quicklinks work very well, but they looked perfect for the smaller rockets. The 260-pound power rating is decent for a rocket that weighs about 3 pounds. The threading looks good and the operation of the lock nut is smooth and smooth. Haven't used them yet but when reassembling with them I will say that the hole is quite tight with the lock nut fully screwed in. You wouldn't put more than 4mm into the gap. Also, they seem to be of great quality and the size is great for small light load applications!
