Quiet operation and reliable build quality

If you are looking for a cooling solution for your audio equipment, this is the product you need. The product looks exactly like the picture so it's no surprise that this is a solid fan. The item is well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. I bought two top vents (as opposed to the side vents) to place on a pair of class A solid state monobloc amps on the floor. I just received one of the amps back which had been repaired due to probable overheating so a solution had to be found to increase the passive cooling of this amp in my setup. The fan has controls for fan speed and cooling profiles ie off. I set mine to run the fan at its lowest speed, turn on automatically when it gets hot, and turn off when it reaches the set temperature. Note that the tempos aren't adjustable, but are tuned for optimal performance. I sat down to listen and watched the cooling modules. The fans are working like a champ, which is exactly what I was missing. The amplifiers have never reached a temperature that would trigger protection mode. Fan on/off is quiet, and when "ON" the fans are VERY quiet at low settings ie I'm sitting 8ft away can barely hear them when the room is quiet, definitely 2-3 times less audible as my projector fan. ! The fans did the trick by turning on and off as needed to remove heat from the AMPSI. I will be buying another one to use with my AVR that can be used to make toast. I think he's already primed the capacitors for the past 6 years because of the heat this thing was generating, so I want to have a proper cooling solution when replacing this AVR with a processor with a preamp.
