Brings out warmth. for computers and accessories

Excellent device. Very well designed with multiple options to work with. Install mine on my amp. Set it to turn on automatically depending on the temperature and also set the speed depending on the temperature. Very quiet and efficient in air travel. UPDATE: Added a second AIRCOM S7 on the DirecTV DVR. The DirecTV device generates a significant amount of heat, and the AIRCOM S7 dissipates it perfectly. As with the box on my amp, I set it to turn on automatically and set the fan speed based on…

I wish I had this for my old receiver

My old receiver died because the brand it belonged to had this horrible DtS chip fault. In fact, it got so hot that the solder points on the DTS chip came loose. Long story short, I replaced my receiver with a much better device that costs a bit more. I just added this to see if there is a difference. That's how it is. Without a fan, my new receiver runs at about a 90-degree angle on the top of the case. With the fan on, it never warms up more than a few degrees above room temperature. The fan…

Really works!: Computer Components

This device is just perfect! I have a Denon AVR-6300 home theater receiver which I like a lot except for one small thing. can dissipate more than simple convection. So I was looking for a fan that would help solve this problem and saw an ad for Aircom series cooling fans. They have a wide range of budget-friendly fans with auto on/off and variable speed, and they looked good. This model, the S7, has two fans and straight exhaust pipes. It's only 1.5 inches tall leaving 3.25 inches between the…

Keep your system cool

This fan is very quiet. The fan is quieter than the fan in my receiver except when running at high speed. I like the smart mode on this device. This is not the top fan version. You have others that have three smaller fans and are about the same size as the top of the receiver. The S7 has two 120mm fans and they are big enough for my needs. The fans suck hot air out of the receiver and since I have a top exhaust it blows up. You can also get a front or rear exhaust. The fan sucks in a lot of air

So far, so good! if fan

Although I only installed it about two days ago, the AC Infinity AIRCOM S7 seems to work as advertised. I actually bought 2 of these - an S7 to cool a DirecTV DVR, a Roku (those suckers get really hot!), an ethernet switch, and then an S9 to cool a Denon AVRX4200w receiver. Both work great. Having previously owned an Antec AV cooler (which served its purpose for many years before finally failing), the first thing I noticed upon unboxing the Aircom was how durable it looks. Unlike my old Antec…

Pull out the heat!

My new Denon receiver is getting very hot. Not "ironed clothes" hot but much hotter than I expected and as it lives in a tv cabinet with glass doors which I prefer to keep closed I was concerned about the heat. Heat is detrimental to complex electronics and significantly shortens their lifespan. I found this range of AC Infinity fans here on Revain, read many reviews and decided to give the S7 model a try. At only 1.5 inches high and 12 inches wide, it leaves plenty of room for airflow in my TV

Quiet operation and reliable build quality

If you are looking for a cooling solution for your audio equipment, this is the product you need. The product looks exactly like the picture so it's no surprise that this is a solid fan. The item is well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. I bought two top vents (as opposed to the side vents) to place on a pair of class A solid state monobloc amps on the floor. I just received one of the amps back which had been repaired due to probable overheating so a solution had to be found to…

Calm. A piercing hum can be heard. Fans of cheap junk.

This unit is much louder than the advertised 20dB at the lowest fan setting. I hear a constant hum coming from a medium sized room with the fan on the lowest speed. I thought it was a piece of junk with cheap fans, but it's worse than I expected. Since those cheap fans get louder with age, I'll be replacing them with the 120mm Noctua fans I have in my CPU case, which are barely audible from a few feet away. They certainly don't make a piercing noise, but rather a quiet wind noise. Another major

Extend reliability! Stay cool!

After hearing about AC Infinity products from a friend, I researched their options on their website and purchased an AC Infinity Aircom S7 top muffler for my Yamaha TSR-7810 receiver. Installation was a breeze. After examining the instruction bar at the top of the device, I decided to set it up using Smart mode. It comes with a nice instruction manual which I later read. Lately (like today) it's been over 30 degrees Fahrenheit in San Francisco Bay, and while my 20 x 25 foot family room is…
