Extend reliability! Stay cool!

After hearing about AC Infinity products from a friend, I researched their options on their website and purchased an AC Infinity Aircom S7 top muffler for my Yamaha TSR-7810 receiver. Installation was a breeze. After examining the instruction bar at the top of the device, I decided to set it up using Smart mode. It comes with a nice instruction manual which I later read. Lately (like today) it's been over 30 degrees Fahrenheit in San Francisco Bay, and while my 20 x 25 foot family room is air-conditioned to 27 degrees (for my wife), the Yamaha heats up to 88 degrees Fahrenheit inside degrees Fahrenheit and activates the "Smart Mode" with the lowest and quietest fan speed. Once it lowers the temperature to 84 degrees Fahrenheit, it turns off (AC Infinity specification). Before I even bought the Aircom S7, I'm pretty sure that my Yamaha's internal temperature is usually outside of the AC Infinity target of 88 degrees Fahrenheit. I felt around the top of my closet and it felt very warm or hot after leaving it on for about an hour. After being ordered to close here, my Dell laptop connected to my Yamaha and LG. 55" HD TV for work, news, TV shows and various movies (Blu-ray, Prime or Netflix etc.). So the Yamaha will probably run for over 15 hours during the day/evening, which means it draws a lot of internal heat from generated well over 88 degrees Fahrenheit. Well, not anymore with my Aircom S7! Yes, I'm very happy with the buyer! :-) It's nice to have such a beautifully designed, high quality fan accessory that works efficiently, and is heat the enemy of all electronic audio components and cooling will add years to the life of this unit if you use products like the Infinity Aircom S7!Warranty: 2 years from date of purchase Highly recommended.
