Although it's only worked for about a month and I only use it a few times a day, it works fine. It folds pretty flat against the wall. The entire unit, including the monitor, is approximately 4 inches from the wall when folded fully against the wall. The monitor closes the light switch when folded against the wall. The tension of the angle adjuster itself is adjustable to facilitate positioning without sagging under the weight of your particular monitor. It is adjustable in 3 directions: up and down, side to side and the angle of the screen. Easy installation with a few simple tools. Some tools are even boxed, as well as mounting hardware. We used our own drill bit to drill a hole in the wall stud and our own level. Otherwise all inclusive.
