FM reception is decent. The sound is more than decent, bordering on not bad (for news and the like). I haven't had to use the Dynamo feature yet, but it seems pretty easy to use. With AA batteries it lasts for months with several hours of FM use per day. The indicator flashes when the battery is low. The flashlight isn't all that impressive, but I don't think it draws much power when I need it (and it can be disconnected from a charged dynamo if all else fails). Can't comment on how well the USB charging port works (I think it's for phone charging) - it can provide enough power for a call or two on a regular phone, but my phone is very picky about chargers, and I don't expect this to work for me (but it can also be charged by a dynamo so it might just be useful in a crappy scenario). However, I paid everything [not much] for it, and everything else about it works as it should, so I'm pretty happy with it.
