If you're deciding between this and cheaper plastic, just buy cheaper plastic. Although the description says the clear tube is made of glass, it is actually plastic. What about the "aluminum" outer tube and cap? Yes, both are plastic. I wasted the extra money thinking it was made of better materials but unfortunately the description is fake. I can't confirm the ring is copper but I have my doubts about other materials and it's shiny silver. Doesn't look like copper, but I won't take it apart to find out. Seems to work well, but doesn't save you from mis-description. Update: Just a piece of junk. The second time does not fill, but flows like a sieve. Now it's in my trash can.
