I've wanted a new monitor with a higher resolution for a long time. I finally received this 34 inch ultra wide monitor as a gift. I use it with my main workstation which already has two 2k (2560 x 1440) monitors. It's essentially a 2k (3440 x 1440) ultra-wide monitor with pixel heights that match my other two monitors perfectly. I don't actually use it for gaming. I use it for general web browsing, programming, research, working with large spreadsheets and datasets, etc. I just need plenty of screen real estate for all my stuff. Text/images look very sharp and clear. Colors, brightness and contrast look fantastic. Haven't tried the color collaboration yet but look forward to trying it out in the near future. This monitor is currently connected via DisplayPort. I also tested the HDMI port with no issues. I briefly tested the USB-C capabilities and the ports worked as expected. I have not used or even tried clay. My regular desktop speakers just keep getting better. Currently, my only minor complaint has to do with the button placement. Not that I need to use them often, but they're a little awkward to reach and use. I feel like I haven't taken full advantage of all the features of this monitor. Overall I am very happy with this monitor and the second one. I expect this new monitor to last for many years and will update my review if anything changes. I would definitely recommend this to others.
