They're adorable and surprisingly well made. However, there are a few questions. They are very uncomfortable unless you "fix" them. You really have to open the box and put the soft backs on the earrings or it will quickly be a painful disappointment for the little girl you're giving them to. Most importantly, the part of the earhook that lies on the front of the earlobe appears to eat into the ear. It is bowl shaped with fairly sharp edges. To prevent this, use a small hot glue gun and apply some glue to this side of the clasp. Basically, you fill that little, sharp cup that digs into your ear. Do it and these earrings will be very comfortable, super cute, well made and fit your ears very well. It might take half an hour with a glue gun, but it's worth it. I will buy more for my other granddaughters.
