This thin and small part makes it very portable. Take it with you wherever you store your files. I create music and music videos that take up quite a bit of space. But I no longer worry about not being able to save my creations. I'm also live on YouTube and Twitch and can save any recording without breaking a sweat. At first I didn't like that it came with software, but after killing my monster of stubbornness I found the software that came with it very helpful. . It has more than enough space to store all my files (for now). And it's a boon as a Windows backup tool. I recently got stuck in a Windows 10 reboot loop and couldn't boot into safe mode or anything. Just keep restarting. I knew what the problem was, but I couldn't access my main hard drive to delete the problematic file. I thought about it for a few days and remembered that I was able to boot from a previous setup that worked. Now, I'm no engineer or Windows 10 guru, but I like to think that since I've set up this storage device to back up my entire hard drive on a daily basis, it goes without saying that the latest known working version of Win10 will do so be on it . And if it gets worse I might reload all my files and settings on a clean install of Win10. I chose the option of reverting to my last known working configuration and was happy to see that everything was back to normal.
