It will not fit on the radiator of a 2004 TJ (leaves a lot of space). In addition, the wiring that comes with the kit does not have a thermostat. So you'll need to buy another 'kit' to cover this, which will most likely cover what they're sending (wire and relays). So it's either overkill or not enough (unless you have a sensor that can turn it on). Time will tell if it stays cool, I haven't ridden it much yet. However, it should not be listed as a 'fit' Wrangler from 2004. Too much space left open.
