When purchasing a barb, the size generally matches the size of the pipe into which the barb will fit. These fittings are not marked as such, they are marked with the actual outside diameter of the barb fitting. Usually the 1/4" is called 1/4" because it fits into the 1/4" tube, the actual barb is about 0.3" so it cuts into the 0.25" tube Tube These pins are the wrong size, 5mm pins, I bought the 5.05mm sizes and they fit almost perfectly on the 5mm tube I bought at the same time, the actual outside diameter is only 5.05mm. So I'm now repurchasing a 6mm barb to fit my pipe. Maybe Amazon should focus on getting their product descriptions right instead of playing big brother and shutting down free speech platforms , it's time to disband them so they can focus on their core millimeter tube business.
