Review on πŸ”§ Enhanced Efficiency with the Piggyback Operated Controller Woodworking Machine by Ines Jones

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It hasn't burned out yet.

to control a portable band saw and my portable belt grinder. In both cases, I quilted wooden stands to hold the tools upright so I could work with them with both hands. None of the instruments are designed for this use, so it's a good idea to turn on the Jam and turn it on with the footswitch. So far, the switch seems to be able to handle the current needs of both tools. The switch is quite small and light compared to the adjustable speed foot switch for my Dremel tool, although the cables look big enough. That's why I only gave him 4 points for his studies. Not sure how durable it is yet, I've only spent a few hours on it. But overall, if it holds up, I'm happy.

Pros
  • Wide application: without speed control, but compatible with variable speed devices. The switch allows hands free operation when using a router, grinder, drill, wood lathe, auger, wood carving tool, power tool or light or any household appliance
Cons
  • Could have picked a newer model
