Nice mirror but not a fan of the brand logo etched on the backing plate

This is a good value mirror, it appears to be well made and the quality of the mirror is good on both sides. I like it a lot, although I deducted a star because of the "GURUN" logo which is permanently etched into the metal of the mounting plate. I managed to make it much less obvious using a small amount of black and brown acrylic paint (mix them together, then rub into the embossed areas and wipe off the excess paint). I don't really notice it now unless I'm looking for it, but it was annoying to see when the mirror arrived as I assumed it was a removable sticker. Installation wasn't very difficult (although I have experience with DIY projects and using tools). I installed the mirror twice because I decided I wanted it in a completely different location (on a different wall, far enough away from the window that I didn't have to worry about direct sunlight hitting the mirror) . The mounting hardware will probably work fine, but I've decided to use the heavier gauge drywall taps and screw-in anchors that I trust (the ones I use carry 75lbs each) for the first install (nice and secure) and then I installed the mirror directly. into the studs for the final installation location (it just happened). When installing the mirror, be sure to use a bubble level to keep the mounting plate level (vertical level). I was in the middle of a light bathroom renovation so I didn't mind moving mine, but you probably don't want to do that as removing it means patching the four holes, sanding and then repainting. You might want someone to press the mirror against the wall so you can step back and see where it is before installing it. I've had the mirror for a few months now and use it every day. The swingarm still works like new and I am very happy with it. I just wish there wasn't a logo on the mounting plate. I doubt anyone but me even knows it's there since I touched it up with paint, but still. Overall I'm glad I bought the mirror and the small logo issue is worth the saving compared to spending a lot more for a non-logo mirror. Finish - Buttered Bronze (deep bronze brown with lighter copper brown around the edges). It's not solid and it's not black. Whether it matches your antique bronze sanitary ware exactly depends on the brand and finish of your sanitary ware, as "oiled bronze" is not a standard all-purpose color for all brands and lines of sanitary ware. I have black lights and they still look great in the same room, although to be honest I haven't been looking for a black mirror that perfectly matches my lights. I find it more interesting when things match but don't match exactly. It's a warm finish so it works well although it doesn't exactly match and the dark finish/warm tone means it doesn't stand out as an obvious difference in a negative way. Shown is a mirror alongside a black cornice/rings, a matte black whirlpool faucet and a black/wood vanity light from Kichler. The mirror also goes well with our handcrafted wrought iron towel rails (although not shown).
