The problem with these replacement fan motors is that the shaft that comes from the motor and connects to the fan lift arm is not long enough to connect to the fan lift shaft so it will not rotate . The only way to help him get to the lift arm shaft to engage it is to push it up to engage the lift arm shaft. I have 2 fans, bought 2 motors and both fans have the same problem. Why not make the shaft a little longer so it goes all the way over the ventilation shaft? I had the same problem with another motorhome a few years ago.
