Firstly, this product was not included in the first delivery. The box was damaged and apparently fell out in transit. When they then objected to the item, I was frustrated to find that there were absolutely no instructions for use. I finally managed to get it working, but it only partially punched holes in two layers of satin ribbon. I had to cut them off with scissors. I then tried to install the eyelet but the eyelet pliers can't get me to push enough to get it to work. A hammer would be better. The edges flex slightly, but just enough to snag on any thin fabric that comes in close contact. The pliers seem strong enough, but if they don't punch full holes, they're useless to me. Ear pliers don't work properly, that's the argument. I would give zero stars if I could.
