I have looked at many reviews over 2+ years. I kept giving up because none of them seemed reliable except for the expensive commercial ones, but I finally decided to give this one a try. With soup season fast approaching (I love making homemade soups - cutting a lot) I had to try something and this was my number one choice. It's loud don't think you can leave it on and hear the news haha. great job cutting! THIS IS SUPER FAST CUTTING MY VEGETABLES! YAY!LID: Some of the reviews found it difficult to put the lid on. I had a food processor many years ago and it works the same - put it on and spin it, so no problem at all for me. CLEANING: It washes up very quickly and easily and NO FOOD STUCK ANYWHERE! Neither food nor water gets stuck in the lid like with my old one. That bothered me a lot on my next purchase, so I'm very happy with it. MOTOR: The motor is really powerful and really moves the CPU when you use it, but I'm here to hold on. to. The suction cups are VERY strong - you can place it where you want it because it's funny how it stays in place with those suction cups. It's good to know it's not going anywhere. I've already said it's noisy, but it doesn't bother me at all. What you might have to get used to is the smell of oil when you start the car. Judging by the smell, it could be oil that got into the engine. It took a while for the smell to go away, but it was worth the wait. INTESTINE: AREA I haven't had any liquid running out of the center when I cut up wet slices or things like braised tomatoes. HOORAY! That was a big problem with my last car. I really LOVE this car! I've had it for a few months now. If anything happens I will update my review.
