Requested these for our 3 year old. He is a bit petite, so size XS (3-4T) is too big for him. For the record, he's about 38 inches tall and his shorts hit just below his knees. So if you're aiming for a gangster look, they might be perfect. !At a "normal" size for a 3 year old, they are likely to fit a little looser and last up to a 4 year old. The pants have drawstrings, which are more functional than decorative, so technically he could still wear them. The stitching and overall construction is very nice. what to expect at this price. Appropriate. they are neither cheap nor expensive. Given the build quality, I expect them to last, so that's valuable. No complaints, hence 5 stars!
