Review on Dell P190S Professional 19-inch Monitor with ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Swivel Adjustment, 60Hz Refresh Rate - SKU 464-7115 by Steve Schlueter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

An old monitor still in use today.

I recently got one of these monitors, but the 5:4 ratio works well, especially when writing code. This monitor in particular has a decent response rate. Nothing outstanding, but not bad either. Colors are ok out of the box. Setting it up doesn't do much, but can be helpful if you have certain profile settings. However, I would not use it for artistic purposes. The monitor can also be very bright and is ideal for brighter environments. Viewing angles are decent, but colors are distorted at lateral angles and washed out at vertical angles. The monitor has a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024, which is a bit low by today's standards, but still a decent resolution for many applications. You won't want to watch movies or play modern games with it, but coding or doing homework etc. works fine. Even old games look great on it. The rotate function is great for easy reading or viewing things in portrait mode. Unfortunately, I don't use a USB hub that often, and if I did, I wouldn't get the full speed of the port it's plugged into (the monitor is USB 2.0, but it plugs into a USB 3.0 port on my computer connected). ). Melody). Adjustable height and angle are also good, especially when multiple people are using the same machine. I would recommend getting the Dell AX510 speaker kit as this monitor does not have built in speakers. And if your system is new, use an HDMI or DisplayPort to DVI+ audio adapter since the only connections are DVI and VGA (and I don't recommend VGA as it's an older analog standard). The adapter depends on which port your computer has.
