I ordered this after realizing the cost of replacing my 2011 Volkswagen Jetta key plus $300 theft would amount. Luckily I didn't lose my key, it just broke off the switch part of the fob so I had both the cut key shank and the transponder board. So it was just a matter of changing the button and the board. PLEASE NOTE ALSO: I found that this key fob was the only one that properly plugged in the transponder board. (See photos) Others for sale looked fine but did not have a cut out inside to fit the board. The set arrived on time and undamaged. I exchanged the transponder circuit board and key shaft without any problems. Works great and about $260 cheaper than the dealer. I would give 5 stars if the key fob came with a panic button (it only has three buttons) like the original. But hey, I only use this panic button when I accidentally hit it, so it's fine if I don't have one.
