2.0A Batteries Now Standard - Great DIY Drill

I've been using corded drills for years and I'm finally tired of pulling heavy extension cords and organizing cords during projects. . I did a lot of research and narrowed it down to a few models. The L-BOXX system is interesting, but I'm not a builder, so I preferred the hammer to the fancy case. I got the drill last night, charged the batteries and did a test run. Driving screws into old pine was no problem and the socket was easy to adjust to an even depth. Drilling was fine and I didn't see any chuck run out. I've tried a hammer drill, but wood really isn't the best test. I don't expect to use it that often, but it will come in very handy when I need to drill through cinder blocks or concrete. The drill itself is a bit larger than I expected, but fits my hand well and is well balanced. . Mine came with 2.0 amp batteries and a matching sticker on the outside box which was a pleasant surprise. The charger is basic but worked well and didn't overheat after both batteries were fully charged. It uses balance wires to individually address each cell in the block so battery life should be maximized and a failed cell should set off a warning rather than a flame. The packaging says "INR" which is high current chemistry, so I expect both batteries to last a long time, especially with protection circuits. Lithium-ion batteries are very different from NiCad and NiMH batteries, so I'd like to see some tech on that. Bosch has succeeded in this.
