Sounds a lot better than a phone speaker. I mainly use it to listen to downloaded podcasts or downloaded music. I use it for housework, away from Alexa, or in the shower. I installed it on a ledge in the shower so I can't talk about waterproofing and I've never tried hanging it on a suction cup. The battery life is excellent. One feature I would like is buttons to rewind or fast forward or "go back 15 seconds" and "skip 30 seconds". The back and forward buttons have a dual function to skip to the previous or next podcast or song and adjust the volume. If you don't hold down the button long enough when changing the volume, it skips to the previous or next track. With no rewind or forward button, you have to make a phone call (not an option in the shower).
