I bought this for myself because I have carpal tunnel and don't have much arm strength. It was easy enough to work with, but a few small protrusions fell off very quickly and I chose not to use it. However, I've recently noticed how bulky my dog's collar is and how his tags add bulk to it, and I've thought about this collar again because it's so smooth. I felt the teeth where the ledges had fallen off; They were rounded, and it seemed that it would be more comfortable on the neck. This is now my dog's collar. Aside from the falling tabs (which I think you can stick back on), my only real complaint (and that's unfair) is that I had sizing issues (a link was removed). But it's easy to put on and take off and feels less harsh than a sharp-toothed collar, with or without buttons.
