Strong standard lens Sony

This is my first telephoto lens that I have owned and I am very happy with it. I have another Sony lens: the 90mm f2.8 macro, which is by far the sharpest lens I've ever used. This lens is not far behind. Image Quality: 10/10 The images I took are very clear, even at 300mm. The angular sharpness is really solid. Slight vignetting but easily fixable in Lightroom. Lens flare is very well controlled and I didn't notice any chromatic aberrations. I didn't notice anything that could reduce my satisfaction with the image quality. Build quality: 9/10. Robust construction. Doesn't feel cheap at all. Although the focus ring could be softer. This is nothing more than a 90mm macro lens (with my favorite focusing ring). The zoom ring is quite tight and not as smooth as I'd like, but apparently not tight enough as the lens still creeps when you go down with the lens (more on that later). Practicality/Convenience: 8/10 seems to be in the right place. It has switches for AF/MF, focus limit and OSS. It also features a reprogrammable focus hold button and zoom lock switch. The zoom lock switch isn't very conveniently located, but what really annoys me is that it can only lock the lens at 70mm. This is a major inconvenience to me, but may not bother some people. When you're not using the lock, the lens moves quite a bit, so I recommend using it at all times. OS is very good. I have no problem taking pictures with slower shutter speeds. I've taken many handheld 300mm photos at 1/60s (or slower) resolution that have proven quite usable. Price: N/A This is subjective and depends entirely on you and your budget. For me it was worth it. For those on a budget, this may not be the case. I've attached pictures and each has a focal length listed (which people really should do more often). Photos are not cropped unless otherwise noted and I have not done any processing/editing in Lightroom. Lens correction profiles were not applied. All photos are taken on a Sony a7 II.
