Review on Versatile HumanCentric Adjustable CPU Holder: Perfectly Fits Most PC Cases for Under Desk Computer Mount and Wall Mount by Soo Chang ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good product, more pros than cons.

General impressions: I bought two of these brackets, installed two 27" monitors. In principle, it's convenient, BUT: - do not think that you will effortlessly change the position of the monitor with one hand, unless you have 19 ". In my case, the monitors weigh 6.5 and 5.5 kg, you have to change their position with both hands and it is difficult to do this while sitting at the table, you have to get up every time . In addition, the tilt of the monitor (forward / backward) is fixed by tightening the bolt. Those. for a heavy monitor, this bolt will have to be tightened very tightly so that the monitor does not “peck” into the table. The tighter this bolt is tightened, the more difficult it will be for you to adjust the monitor. If you also have two monitors, it will be difficult to put them right next to each other without a gap between them due to the backlash in the VESA mount (described in the shortcomings). As a result: if you want to free up space on the table, put the monitors away from your eyes, and plan to adjust their position 1 time and forget, then everything is fine. If you have only 1 monitor, then there will be no problems, you will most likely like everything. If you have two monitors and want to change the position of the monitors several times a day, this is not your option.

Pros
  • Complete set (everything for assembly and installation is included) Easy to assemble Free up space on the table Can be rotated 180 degrees
Cons
  • As already mentioned here earlier, the plastic plate on the VESA mount does not fit snugly into the mount on the bracket itself, which causes side play. In principle, you can live with this, but every time you change the position of the monitor, you have to make allowances for this backlash. The same disadvantage is very disturbing if you have two monitors on brackets and want to put them close to each other. Narrow cable channels. I have a power cable, a displayport cable and a cable to a usb hub coming from one monitor. As a result, he barely laid them in the channel in the bracket.
