Use this projector for business (team training, analytics); Using HDMI input and high definition was a big improvement. That works great. Unfortunately, the projector broke after a year of use. The unit was under warranty and the service center agreed to ship the repaired unit (they charge your card until they get a refund through FedEx). I was fine with that, but when the unit arrived the instructions called for using the included flash drive and a "setup" process to remove the lamp from the old unit and install it in the new unit yourself. This is clearly a work activity and should not be expected of clients. So, another support call when the process didn't go as planned. Now the lamp in the old block seems to have been defective. So they send another lamp. The setup instructions require the old device to be turned on, but since the old device would not turn on, I was unable to complete the process as instructed. When I asked the service why they didn't just send a block with a lamp, the answer was "someone upstairs decided to do it this way". In other words, Epson doesn't care about the customer. This is typical of consumer goods companies. They compete for product features, and because most of them work, they care less about the customers who need service because they're just a handful of customers. Of course I will never be able to buy an Epson product again.
