Use an HDMI audio extractor for an external speaker.

Very clear and bright image can be used for business presentations but no audio output (3.5 or optical) except HDMI. You can use an HDMI audio extractor. Great projector from Epson, but I encountered the same issue when using an external speaker with a 3.5mm or optical cable input. Well I found a solution, I used an HDMI audio extractor and it works. I was able to connect a 3.5mm audio cable to a powered speaker and the projector sounds great. The HDMI audio extractor shares the audio path and…

Great video! NO AUDIO OUT?

Great picture! You can make the screen gigantic! First project we bought so I have no comparison with it. But great video. I don't know if that compensates for the lack of audio output. When I first started looking for projectors I wasn't thinking about sound, I just thought the output would be standard. The dynamics inside the projector are enough for you to get by, but I don't want to live with that for long. I wish it was in the description. I studied and found that I can get a converter for

This device has many good features

This device has many good features and only one downside, but it's big. Image quality is excellent, easy to adjust and bright enough in the right conditions. *However* this device has a "Normal Power" mode and an "ECO Power Saving" mode. At normal output, the bulb is operating at full output with the expected brightness, and that's a great picture! BUT, the fan accelerates to the speed and noise level of the VACUUM CLEANER! Anyone who needs adequate silence in the room will be forced to operate

The very first experience with the projector

The projector (Epson 1060) gives a surprisingly better picture than I expected. Overall I am very happy with this purchase, excellent value for money. I thought about replacing the TV in my room and decided to go down the space saving projector route to pretty much put it anywhere I want. So, of course, the best place to set up my room was above the closet. I have a manually lowered screen so I didn't have to lock my closet. Pros: - Excellent picture quality - Fan is pretty quiet when running…

The projector is good; Disaster Relief

Use this projector for business (team training, analytics); Using HDMI input and high definition was a big improvement. That works great. Unfortunately, the projector broke after a year of use. The unit was under warranty and the service center agreed to ship the repaired unit (they charge your card until they get a refund through FedEx). I was fine with that, but when the unit arrived the instructions called for using the included flash drive and a "setup" process to remove the lamp from the…

So here I was. in video projectors

So I was with a good old electronic screen but no projector and our party was less than a week away. I was doing some research and was about to buy one of these works for $300 but something told me not to go cheap. So it was one of the best I could find and with a company that has been in business since 1942 you can never go wrong. Anyway, they got here quickly (you gotta love that top notch delivery) and they even added 6 months of Revain music. It was very quick to set up, with plenty to do…

Good performance at a great price!

I bought this for a home setup where I use it with a DENON receiver and a 5.1 speaker. I was displaying an image on a 100" Elite Evanesce In-Ceiling Mount Extendable Screen. The projector is ceiling mounted approximately 94 inches from the screen. Primarily it is used for watching movies, sports and children's games. Very good and comparable image quality to OPTOMA projectors in the same class as OPTOMA 1080 Darbee and HD-39 Darbee that I bought. original but returned. The OPTOMA 1080 Darbee…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Repair

Compared to a more expensive high brightness projector (like the 4500 lumen BenQ for the $1000 MH750) I struggled to get this one. To put it in context, my viewing space is a wall of windows looking out onto the clear, blue, sunny California sky. Below is a photo of my room with *no* lights on just to clarify. I registered 2000 lux (about 200 foot candles) coming in through the windows at 11am and about 600 lux coming straight onto the screen (it's at a 90 degree angle to the windows). At about
