I bought this for my 3 year old grandson after too much 'creative drawing' was painting my walls and tables. These water pills from Melissa and Doug are just what I needed for both of us. He found his "creative drawings" to be mini-masterpieces and my walls were saved! The best is not a special or expensive tool, just plain water! Melissa & Doug water pads are reusable and once dry you can try them. The 'sides' are thick planks that can withstand multiple immersions in water, which is fun for a 3-year-old, and the 'seek and find' objects are a great way to uncover 'hidden treasure' when they "draw". The colors are bright and cheerful. My only regret? Don't buy this beforehand!
