Review on ๐Ÿ“ฑ LFOTPP 7-Inch Tempered Glass Car Navigation Screen Protector, Heat Resistant Infotainment Display In-Dash Center Touch Screen Protector for CRV EX EX-L Touring 2017-2021 by Jason Kovak

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Temperature and humidity changes have a negative effect on the seal. It flakes off in areas and blisters.

4 out of 5 stars. I read the reviews and was very careful about installing the screen protector correctly. Went like clockwork. If I had written a review this week it would have gotten 5 stars. Now the rest of the story. My new 2018 CR-V Touring is in the garage. There are no problems. I took it with me on my first trip about a month after installing the screen protector. The car was not in the garage at the hotel. At the end of April the days were warm and the evenings cool. In the evening it was also muggy. I noticed that somehow moisture got between the touchscreen and the protective film. There is no way to get it. Now I have 3 quarter sized bubbles on the screen. Frustrating but hopefully it won't affect my touchscreen in any way. Continuation. protective film removed. See image. I thought moisture would interfere with the sealant, but it flaked off in patches, creating 12 blisters (I originally listed 3 but didn't count). It did not damage the navigator screen but I would not recommend this product. It basically flew off within a month of installing it.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • No Paint Required
