Review on πŸ› οΈ DEWALT DW4904 Crimped Wheel Brush: Powerfully Efficient Brush for Superior Crimping by Logan Tripp

Nice but not perfect.

That's a good spoked disc! Good construction, very solid, well balanced. Rust, dirt or grime is no good for this wheel! I use it on a Palmgren 82061 1/3HP 6" stand grinder with spoked wheel, charcoal grey/black. It's not a bad round at all BUT after only using it a couple of times a lot of the wires are bent and touching the hubcaps - and these Grinder has very wide caps, I cut through these wires first, but soon I would have to cut through almost 1/4 of the entire wheel as all the wires on either side start to curve slightly outwards (and I made sure to cut the wheel for to mark the direction so I always set it up the same way to limit the flex.) So I've just noticed that this wheel is just a little bit wider. And it's a narrower wheel as Dewalt also uses a DEWALT DW4905 6" corrugated wire wheel, 5/8-1/2" shaft, wide end .014" sold which I also had and I can. To be honest there isn't much of a difference. So I feel compelled to me either to the Q getting used to squeaking (and lid scratches) or using it without the lid (which I didn't intend to do). I've also tried this on other coffee grinders - DEWALT DW756 6" Benchtop Grinder, Delta 23-198 6" Variable Speed Grinder with Quick Change Tool, 6" 1/5HP-CRAFTSMAN Variable Speed Grinder and 6" Adjustable Speed Grinder with porter cord and light, and that goes for all (on the last three, putting the caps on actually stops the motor turning!) /2" and 5/8" mandrel and I love it. The Dewalt is coarser (0.014" wire size) compared to the finer Forney (0.008" wire size) so they complement each other. But the build quality seems to be better with Forney, so I'll probably test this brand before Dewalt in the future. Be careful and wear glasses!
