These bags seem thin and are not 9.6 mil heavy. Contents with sharp edges may puncture the bag if vacuum sealed or if O2 absorbers effectively remove the air inside the bag. The O2 absorbers I received may have been exposed to air as they did not show any signs of working. For comparison, I dropped O2 absorbers from a different brand of the same cc into one of the same bags and it showed a marked difference. The labels are too small to write an adequate description of the contents such as name, weight, date, and any other remarks one needs to make (unless you write very small). I just ordered another set of 100 mylar bags and I did NOT reorder these. If you're not into long term storage of food, then these bags may be sufficient for your needs.
