Photographers will see what I mean. The item was sold by a third party seller and arrived within a week (a day at least) of my order. Condition has been described as "good" and is believed to match descriptions of used KEH or Adorama products. The camera is in "good" condition with only cosmetic signs of use as far as I can tell. I took it with me every day to check the performance, sensor quality, buttons/dials, LCD display and battery life. I'm satisfied so far. I've been shooting with Canon gear since the 1980's and I'm still using the EOS 1V, so this 1D model is more or less intuitive (in terms of mode, speed, drive, ISO, bracketing, etc.). experienced Canon 1 series user. Other Canon DSLRs helped with menu navigation, which could be accessed using the back buttons and LCD. While they differ functionally, the differences in menus and image navigation aren't insurmountable. This camera performs better than my current Canons (30D and 20D) and I look forward to my next shoot. Everyone wants the latest and greatest - but with almost $7,000 missing for a brand new Canon flagship 1D X, this affordable alternative is still enough to get your photographic juices flowing. This is a complete professional camera with all the bells and whistles that will keep me happy for the foreseeable future.
