Both sides make this board a dream
I have had the board for more than 7 years. I use it almost every day and use both mineral oil and walnut oil for maintenance. I also flip the board and use the back side - there's no point in just using "top". It was a little less finished but took the entire ten minutes and 200 sandoairs to just fix it. After pouring a full 64 ounces of mineral oil on the first side, the same amount went on the back. However, this board is huge and heavy and stays flat and level and is a dream to use. So remember to treat both sides!
