Works great, just don't do it.
When I install toilets in homes, I put a ring of wax on the floor and then install the toilet. Make sure these RV toilets are not installed as residential toilets as this is the case the other way around. Place this gasket on the bottom of the toilet, it will stay in place, then screw the toilet to the bottom. Tighten the screws just enough to keep the toilet from rocking, do not tighten any further. When finished, open the flush valve and visually check that the gasket did not move during installation.
