Liked the adjustability and the manufacturing quality of the brass cylinder and stainless ball. DID NOT like the fact the metal for the latch was thinner and the Chinese designer decided to shave an 1/8th off the standard dimensions of such a device as normally would be found (or milled into a bat wing door set) in America. Too narrow in one dimension. Too wide in another. The screw holes are just a touch too closely spaced. The latch is way to narrow to serve as a direct replacement for an existing installation. Bottom line: if you are milling holes for your own door from scratch, this might work fine, otherwise, there are standard sizes for latches and door hardware in America, and this aint it! Unfortunate, because it was fine otherwise.
