Review on 🧵 Dimensions 'Paris Market' Cross Stitch Kit, 18 Count Ivory Aida Fabric, 15" x 11 by Karla Richter

I am a bit disappointed with this set. It looks like Dimensions have decided to downgrade the quality of their fabric and thread. What I've sewn so far looks fine, but the fabric is so stiff it's difficult to hoop and the thread doesn't slide through the fabric as easily as it used to. I am working on another project with DMC floss at the same time and the difference is very noticeable. The yarn in this set is presorted in a unique way, making it much easier to find the right color. If there are too many strands for the sorter, they include a separate strand of that color. I found that one color in the presorter didn't match the color in an individual skein. I have contacted the company and am expecting them to send me the correct color. I'm just glad I noticed before I went too far in the project. I'm also glad I read some of the other reviews that talk about repeating lines from page 1 to page 2. I'll definitely double check this before I jump to page break! I also agree with the comment that the pattern is difficult to read because the font is a bit small, but that's not too much of a problem for me. I am an experienced embroiderer and would definitely NOT recommend this for a beginner.
