This case for my apple pencil was everything I was looking for. I wanted: 1. a cute case to protect my pencil from damage 2. a case that will help me not to lose my pencil cap3. Help hold the pencil more easily This pencil definitely covers 1 and 2 on my list but I found this case difficult to write with a pencil. I may have small baby hands, but the grip was too thick for my fingers to comfortably hold a pencil without cramping. The pencil case made it difficult to apply the strokes properly as I couldn't grip the pen like I usually do and could usually grip and hold the pen/marker. I ended up buying another pencil case on Amazon and preferring it because it's a bit thinner and easier to write with. If you have big hands this pencil case will most likely fit you, but if you have very small hands (my 9 year old son has almost the same hand size as mine) if it helps you with my small hands) you can look for other option .
