has a "gap " between the lid and spout - I like the size and good quality otherwise

when attaching the lid - there is a place at the bottom of the spout. I use this as a COMPOST holder for fruits and veggies before putting them in my compost. DO NOT LIKE space as flies can come and go. Love the size of this item - it sits in my sink waiting for me to fill it up. I will look for an alternative.

Now there is no 24 hour supply, any hot or cold liquid is available e.g. Boiled water, iced tea, lemon, beer, milk, etc. Just remember to clean the inside after each use.
