has a "gap " between the lid and spout - I like the size and good quality otherwise

when attaching the lid - there is a place at the bottom of the spout. I use this as a COMPOST holder for fruits and veggies before putting them in my compost. DO NOT LIKE space as flies can come and go. Love the size of this item - it sits in my sink waiting for me to fill it up. I will look for an alternative.

Not the best. Not the worst.

Unfortunately, the selection is small. No major complaints. Good quality, wish it was thicker, better materials. A little overpriced but no leaks everything is fine. IMHO overpriced.

It is save? - Kitchen and dining room

I didn't know (didn't mention it in the description) that liquids can't be stored for more than 24 hours. In fact, there is a warning in the jar. Does this mean that something has entered the liquid? Very creepy. I threw it away. After all, who puts 64 ounces in a pitcher to use for 24 hours? Too bad. It was a good pitcher.

Fits our needs

We use this pitcher for cold brewing iced tea and yes it is safe. If it doesn't contain BPA, it's safe. The question about its safety reflects another reviewer's preferences. Jug and handle are sturdy for 83 oz. The larger one is quite heavy and may require two hands to carry. We estimated the measurements in the description so we knew it would fit on the top shelf of the fridge. It didn't stain after a week in the fridge with iced tea.
