I was skeptical at first because these were for my 2 chandeliers. The previous 2 bulbs I had tried from another manufacturer and seller were good because of the size. Let me Explain, the base of the others had 3 rings (or threads) and when inserted, they did not reach the bottom of the sockets to make the connection. My sockets have a cover protector over them making the base length of the bulb crucial. These were perfect as the base length was longer (5 rings) and was able to make the connections. These inserted and lit right up. I can't say anything about longevity yet because it's only been a few days, but I Highly recommend them and I will buy them again as the need arises. GOOD JOB
