Looks great but I can't connect the threads
I really like these lights, especially that they can be both colored and white and look great on our roofline. In the end we turned on the light from two separate sockets, since all modes do not work when two wires are connected together. We considered returning them for this reason, but decided against it. The only other issue I have is that the mode reverts to flashing lights every time they turn off and on again. I have to set them to the desired mode every night. However, it is easy to achieve (mostly) mode synchronization.
