For distributing documents and photos to multiple users. Somewhat disappointed that formatting a Mac (on El Cap and Mojave) for file transfer using Disk Utility failed ("Erase Failed" and GUID partition not allowed). First managed to erase everything and format with PC format (no quick format) and then successfully format and add files on Mac. Original condition on flash drive somehow natively preserved corrupted by Mac format but works fine with this extra step on any of the 20 32GB USB flash drives.
