Everything was fine until recently, it got worse

My ROKU Express is over 2 years old and was working great until a few months ago I started having problems syncing the video and audio to have. I have a simple setup: ROKU Express is connected to an Elements TV via HDMI and no additional audio devices are connected. I see many posts about the same issue on the ROKU community support page, and some suggest this is a ROKU software issue that arose during a recent update. I liked my ROKU and would give it 5 stars, but this video/audio sync issue is very annoying and makes me try another solution. decide. I really liked my ROKU at first, and in the last year I've bought 2 more ROKU TVs (TCL and Hisense) and although both sometimes have sound issues on certain applications, they both auto-resync almost immediately. Although I've tried all the suggested fixes posted on the ROKU community site so far, the problems with my old ROKU Express seem to get worse with every software update and after a short period of time some apps won't show it. This doesn't happen on every channel so I suspect there is a compatibility issue with some apps, but after all this time you might think that ROKU is working with different developers to fix this issue. ROKU is obviously aware of this issue but has ignored it. Just read other Revain reviews and search "sync" and you'll see I'm not alone. I'll wait and see if I can get a good Black Friday deal on the Fire Stick and if it works I'll reset the ROKU Express.
