At first glance, this intake manifold pressure gauge may appear more difficult to use than the much more common basic analogue dial gauge sets. However, after using it, you will find that it is simpler and offers more information. After plugging it in and resetting it, choose the type of refrigerant in the system you are working with. From now on, only numbers for this refrigerant will be displayed. No more sorting multi-colored rings on an analog gauge. It comes with temperature clamps to show temperature readings directly on the display and you can use it with a vacuum pump to see if there is a leak in the system. As others have mentioned, it does NOT come with a hose set. I'm a little surprised they were offered as an option. A tote bag would be nice. A very good device for the price. Don't be put off by the display, you'll find that it's easier to use than your base set while still offering more information.
